Hello, I was visiting family in Montrose on June 6th thur 12th and had planned a float trip on the Gunnison. Mother nature had other plans and with highs in the 100 degree range the rivers were all blown out and unfishable. Joel however suggested we ck the Tayor river, he knew it would be high but tought it would be fishable. And he was right, my son and I were both novice fly fisherman and with about 1/2 hour of instruction from Joel we hit the river and caught several nice rainbow and brown trout. I didn’t see anyone else landing any fish that day accept us. Thanks Joel for the Great time, I’ll be sure to call and book a trip next time we visit.
